WINGS OVER BOERNE
Spend an afternoon with Executive Director John Karger and the Last Chance Forever staff at the Boerne Visitor's Center. We will have three presentations on Saturday the 13th, and Saturday the 20th of June. View magnificent Birds of Prey up close, and help us in our effort to return raptors to the skies! This Saturday, at Joshua Springs Park, Last Chance Forever will have two shows as part of the 2nd Annual Boerne Adventure Fest- an all day celebration of our beautiful Texas environment, with live music and activities for guests of all ages. Have you ever wished that you could support wildlife every day, by doing what you already do online? What if Last Chance Forever earned a percentage of most of the purchases you made online? What if it earned a penny every time you searched the Internet? Starting this month, it can.

GoodSearch is a search engine, backed by yahoo that donates to LCF every time you do a search. It donates half its advertising revenue, which means LCF can earn about a penny per search.

GoodShop is a "mall" with hundreds of member online stores. It donates up to 37 percent of each purchase made through its portal to select nonprofits. Member stores include businesses you probably routinely use for travel (Expedia, Hotels.com, Priceline, Travelocity, many of the most popular rental car and hotel chains), reading material (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, AbeBooks, TextbookX), office supplies (Office Depot, Office Max, Staples), phone services (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon), electronics (Apple, iTunes Store, MacMall, Dell, CompUSA), and much more.

All it takes to get donations flowing to LCF is to go to GoodShop at www.goodshop.com, enter Last Chance Forever when asked "Who do you GoodShop for?" then click on any of the retailer links. Users are forwarded on to the store's own website, where they shop as usual. When the purchase is complete, the member store lets GoodShop know how much was spent and how much to donate to LCF.
