Considering A Gift Or Memorial Donation?
A donation to Last Chance Forever can be a wonderful gift for a close friend or family member who loves birds of prey and is committed to preserving our wildlife heritage. When we receive a gift donation, we send a personalized thank you to the person in whose name the donation was made. In the case of memorial donations, a chosen friend or family member will receive a note that a gift was made in honor of their loved one. Adopt-A-Raptor Program
Our Adopt-A-Raptor Program is currently undergoing changes. Please call us at (210) 499-4080 for updated information.
We invite you to participate, become a sponsor, be updated on the progress of the healing process, travel to a release site, and have a hands-on experience in the release of the patient! The entire event will be documented through photography or videotape. By offering this opportunity, we hope to have our partners feel more involved in the success of our raptor rehabilitation efforts. For you or perhaps someone you know who has an interest in raptors or the natural world, this is an opportunity of a lifetime!
Small Raptor ($50 level)

Medium Raptor ($150 level)
Cooper's Hawk, Barn Owl, Broad Wing Hawk, Red Shouldered Hawk, Mississippi Kite, Short-eared Owl

Our partners have often asked us whether they can select a particular species to adopt within an adoption category. Unfortunately, we can not accomodate these requests. Nature dictates where needs are greatest, which is why we offer adoption by category rather than species. For instance, a storm may bring us half a dozen injured screech owls, while good luck may favor the kestrels hoped for by a sponsor for many months. It is not fair to our donors or to birds in critical need to hold funds in hope that a raptor of a particular species will be brought in for care.
